Minecraft Social Development Group

program features + faq

program faq
Kids ages 8 and up. No upper age limit. The program is a fit as long as the child can participate in a peer group independently and is working on social and communication skills.
No diagnosis required. The program is designed for neurodivergent kids and kids with social communication challenges, but any child who would benefit from real peer practice in a structured environment is welcome to apply.
Yes. This program was built with ADHD brains in mind. Minecraft keeps kids engaged and moving, working with their attention rather than against it. Skills are coached in the moment inside the game, not talked about in a circle.
Yes. Kids with Autism Level 1 often have strong verbal skills and a genuine desire to connect but struggle with the unwritten rules of conversation, reading social cues, and repairing conflict. This program gives them repeated, structured practice with a coach right there to help.
Many of the kids in this group are hyperactive and impulsive. The sessions are structured but active, and Minecraft gives kids something to do with their energy. This is not the right fit if your child needs 1-on-1 aide support to stay regulated, but if they can participate in a group independently, even imperfectly, this is a great match.
No. This is a coach-led social skills program, not a therapy group. Victoria is a Special Education Teacher and certified ADHD and Autism specialist. If your child needs clinical support, this program works best alongside that, not instead of it.
$2,500 for the full school year, averaging $250 per month over 10 months. That includes 36 weekly coaching sessions, private Minecraft realm access, a personal Skill Deck and Binder, skill cards, character awards, and completion certificates.
Minecraft Bedrock Edition on a PC, tablet, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, or PlayStation. Bedrock does not work on Mac. Google Meet on a separate screen or device. No prior Minecraft experience needed.
There are two tracks. New Transitions, Friendship and Leadership is for kids navigating change, emotional regulation, and peer connection. Social Skills and Friendship Foundations is for kids working on impulse control, flexible thinking, and the mechanics of being a friend. Victoria helps you choose the best fit at intake.
Enrollment opens for September each year. Spots are limited to 10 kids per group and fill first-come, first-served once intake paperwork, consents, and payment are finalized. Apply using the form on the homepage and Victoria will reach out directly.
