Groups run three times per year, with each cohort lasting 11 to 16 sessions.
Sessions are held Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 4:30pm ET or 6:00pm ET.
Hi, I’m Victoria Prisco, a Creative Arts Therapist and Special Education Teacher with over 15 years of experience working with neurodivergent children.
I provide Minecraft Social Skills groups for children in Arlington, Virginia who need support with communication, peer interaction, and emotional regulation.
Sessions are designed to reflect real-life environments like the lunchroom, recess, and group work, where social challenges often show up.
How the Group Works
Each child joins through Google Meet while also playing in a private Minecraft Bedrock Realm.
Kids use:
- One device for video (Google Meet)
- One device for Minecraft
This setup allows for real-time coaching while kids are actively interacting.
I guide conversations, support social problem solving, and help kids work through challenges as they happen.
What Kids Work On
Kids in group practice:
- Communication and conversation skills
- Turn-taking and shared control
- Managing frustration
- Flexible thinking
- Building friendships
